Across Europe, classrooms are becoming more multilingual, more diverse, and more digitally connected. As teachers, we know that this creates exciting opportunities, but also new challenges. How can we integrate digital tools meaningfully? How can we support learners from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds? How can we create classrooms where every student feels included and valued?
These are the questions that inspired LiTE Academy (LinguaTech Europe Academy).
In LiTE Academy, we are working together (universities, teacher educators, and teachers across Europe) to explore new ways of teaching languages in digital, inclusive, and multilingual classrooms. Our goal is simple: to support both pre-service and in-service language teachers with practical ideas, tools, and professional learning opportunities that respond to the realities of today’s education.
Over the coming months, we will be developing and sharing training modules that focus on three key areas:
Digital pedagogies – exploring how teachers can use digital tools and emerging technologies to enhance language learning.
Inclusive teaching practices – supporting teachers in creating learning environments where all students can participate and succeed.
Multilingual pedagogies – recognizing students’ linguistic repertoires as valuable resources and building bridges between languages in the classroom.
But LiTE Academy is not just a project, it is a community of educators who want to learn from each other and experiment with new approaches to teaching.
Throughout the project, we will organize webinars, training activities, classroom pilots, and collaborative exchanges where teachers can share experiences, test new ideas, and contribute to the development of open educational resources that will be freely available to the wider community.
And we would love for you to be part of it.
