As part of an academic and cultural visit to Malaysia, our project coordinator, Dr. Osman Solmaz, had the pleasure of spending time at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) in Terengganu, an experience that turned into a wonderful opportunity to share LiTE Academy with a new international audience.

A Lecture for Postgraduate Students and Faculty
During the visit, he delivered a lecture attended by postgraduate students and faculty members from UniSZA. The session focused on academic experience sharing, and the room brought together a mix of researchers and educators whose questions and comments reflected a genuinely global perspective on language education.
It was a real pleasure to see how many of the themes we work on within LiTE Academy (i.e., digital tools, inclusive practices, and multilingual pedagogies) resonated with colleagues on the other side of the world. Multilingualism in particular sparked warm conversation, unsurprising in a setting as linguistically rich as Malaysia.
As part of the lecture, Dr. Solmaz introduced our audience to the LiTE Academy project: our consortium of European partners, our three thematic pillars (Digital, Inclusive, and Multilingual pedagogies), our training modules, and the wider goals of the Erasmus+ Teacher Academies initiative. It was our first time presenting LiTE Academy to a Malaysian academic audience, and we came away with new ideas, new contacts, and a strong sense that our work speaks to concerns and aspirations far beyond the European context.

Our warm thanks go to our hosts at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin for their generous welcome, and to everyone who joined the session. Moments like these are a reminder that language teacher education is a shared endeavor, and that the conversations we start in one classroom can travel remarkably far.
We look forward to staying in touch with our new colleagues in Malaysia and to finding more opportunities to build bridges between our academic communities.
