LiTE Academy is a collaborative European project built on the expertise of universities, schools, and educational institutions working together to strengthen digital, inclusive, and multilingual language teaching. Our consortium brings together partners from across Europe, each contributing unique experience in teacher education, educational technology, multilingualism, and classroom innovation.
Together, we are developing new resources, training opportunities, and collaborative networks that support both pre-service and in-service language teachers.
Here is a brief introduction to the institutions that make LiTE Academy possible.

Dicle University (Türkiye) – Project Coordinator
Dicle University coordinates the LiTE Academy project and leads overall project management. Located in Diyarbakır, the university has a long-standing tradition in teacher education and international collaboration. With strong experience in Erasmus+ projects and a vibrant research environment, Dicle University oversees the project’s planning, monitoring, and coordination while supporting collaboration among all partners.
Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa (Türkiye)
Istanbul University–Cerrahpaşa leads the development of digital learning resources within the project. With advanced technological facilities and expertise in AI-supported education, virtual learning environments, and immersive technologies, the university plays a key role in developing the Digital, Inclusive, and Multilingual (DIMs) educational resources that form the core of the project.
Boğaziçi University (Türkiye)
Boğaziçi University contributes its expertise in multilingual education, sociolinguistics, and teacher education. The team supports the development of the DIMs training modules, ensuring that they reflect contemporary research and practical approaches to multilingual and inclusive language teaching.
Universidad de Córdoba (Spain)
Universidad de Córdoba leads the professional development activities of the project. Through a series of international webinars and training sessions, the university will help deliver and refine the project’s training modules while gathering feedback from teachers across different educational contexts.

Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (Norway)
Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences leads the implementation and evaluation of the project’s training modules. With strong expertise in teacher education and educational innovation, the university contributes to testing and refining the project’s approaches in real educational settings.
UNED – National University of Distance Education (Spain)
UNED leads the Practice and Policy Development Forum, creating spaces for educators, researchers, and policymakers to exchange ideas and best practices. Through both online and in-person events, the forum will support collaboration and policy dialogue around language education, inclusion, and digital innovation.
Universität Hamburg (Germany)
Universität Hamburg leads the project’s dissemination, policy engagement, and sustainability efforts. Drawing on its extensive expertise in multilingual and intercultural education, the university works to ensure that the project’s findings and resources reach a wider audience and contribute to long-term educational impact.
Universidade de Aveiro (Portugal)
Universidade de Aveiro supports dissemination and policy development activities, bringing strong expertise in plurilingual education, teacher training, and international research collaboration. The university helps amplify the project’s outcomes and strengthen connections between research, practice, and policy.

Educational Partners and Implementation Schools
In addition to the university partners, LiTE Academy works closely with educational institutions that help bring the project into real classrooms.
Diyarbakır Provincial Directorate of National Education (Türkiye)
As an associate partner, the Provincial Directorate connects the project with a large network of schools, teachers, and students, supporting teacher training and the implementation of project activities in local educational contexts.
Adnan Menderes Anatolian High School (Türkiye)
This multilingual and internationally active high school will serve as one of the key implementation sites for piloting the project’s training modules with teachers and students.
Marion Dönhoff Gymnasium (Germany)
Located in Hamburg, this school brings strong experience in bilingual education, multilingual learning, and European projects. It will contribute to piloting and refining the project’s innovative teaching approaches.
A Partner School in Norway
The project will also collaborate with a school in Norway to test the training modules in another educational context, allowing the project to gather insights from diverse classroom environments.
A Truly European Collaboration
With partners from Türkiye, Spain, Germany, Norway, and Portugal, LiTE Academy reflects the diversity of European education systems and teaching contexts. By working together across countries and institutions, the consortium aims to build a strong community of practice that supports teachers in developing innovative and inclusive language teaching approaches.
