We're opening a call for an External Evaluator to join LiTE Academy for the remainder of the project, through February 2028. If you have evaluated EU-funded projects before and care about language teacher education, we'd love to hear from you.
What is LiTE Academy?
LiTE Academy is an Erasmus+ Teacher Academies project bringing together eleven institutions across Türkiye, Spain, Germany, Norway, and Portugal. We are coordinated by Dicle University, and our work focuses on advancing how language teachers across Europe are trained in three areas: Digital tools, Inclusive practices, and Multilingual pedagogies (the DIMs).
Over the project's lifecycle we are developing training modules, a digital resource toolkit, webinars, and knowledge-sharing hubs, targeting nearly 500 teachers and indirectly benefiting around 5,000 students.
The role
We are looking for someone to act as our "critical friend", an independent expert who reviews our progress, deliverables, and impact across the rest of the project lifecycle, and gives us honest, actionable feedback.
Three reports are expected over the engagement:
Inception Report within one month of contract signature, validating the evaluation methodology
Interim Evaluation Report at project month 24 (around February 2027)
Final Evaluation Report at project end (February 2028)
The engagement runs from contract signature until project end - approximately 21 months. The total fee is around €8,700 (EUR), all-inclusive.
Who we'd love to hear from
We are looking for applicants (individuals or organizations) with:
A proven track record evaluating EU-funded projects, particularly Erasmus+ KA2, Teacher Academies, or Horizon Europe
Thematic expertise in teacher education, digital pedagogies, inclusive education, or multilingualism
Experience with quality assurance methodologies and impact assessment in educational contexts
Full professional proficiency in English (our working language)
To keep the evaluation independent, applicants cannot have a current or recent professional affiliation with any of our consortium institutions. The full list of partners is in the call document below.
How to apply
Please send the following as a single PDF or zipped package to liteacademyproject@gmail.com by June 1st.
Curriculum Vitae highlighting relevant experience
Portfolio / list of reference projects evaluated in the last five years
Brief methodology (1–2 pages) outlining how you would approach the evaluation of LiTE Academy
Applications are assessed by the LiTE Academy Steering Committee against a transparent scoring rubric. The full call document, including the eligibility check, scoring criteria, and the complete list of consortium partners, is accessible HERE.
For any questions about the call, please reach out to us at liteacademyproject@gmail.com
We look forward to hearing from you.
