At the heart of the LiTE Academy project are the DIMs Modules—a set of professional development resources designed to support language teachers in today’s evolving educational landscape.
DIMs stands for Digital, Inclusive, and Multilingual pedagogies. Through these modules, we aim to help teachers strengthen their ability to design learning environments that respond to the linguistic diversity of classrooms, make meaningful use of digital tools, and ensure that all learners can participate and succeed.
Across Europe and beyond, classrooms are becoming increasingly multilingual and culturally diverse. At the same time, digital technologies are rapidly transforming how teaching and learning take place. As educators, we believe these changes present not only challenges but also exciting opportunities. The DIMs Modules are our way of supporting teachers as they navigate this new reality.
What Do the DIMs Modules Focus On?
Each DIMs Module focuses on practical strategies that teachers can apply in their own classrooms. Together, the modules explore three interconnected dimensions:
Digital pedagogies
We explore how digital tools and technologies can support language learning, collaboration, and creativity. Teachers will be introduced to approaches that move beyond simply using technology toward designing meaningful digital learning experiences.
Inclusive teaching practices
We focus on strategies that support participation for all learners. This includes designing accessible activities, recognizing diverse learner needs, and creating classroom environments where students feel valued and included.
Multilingual approaches
Rather than treating multiple languages as a barrier, we encourage teachers to see learners’ linguistic repertoires as resources. The modules introduce practices such as translanguaging and multilingual meaning-making to help teachers build on students’ language knowledge.

Learning Through Collaboration
The DIMs Modules are not designed as static materials. Instead, we see them as part of a collaborative learning process involving teachers, teacher educators, and researchers across Europe.
Throughout the project, we will co-develop, pilot, and refine these modules together with educators working in diverse educational contexts. Their experiences and feedback will help us shape the modules so that they remain practical, relevant, and adaptable.
Supporting Teachers Across Europe
Our goal is to create resources that teachers can easily access and integrate into their professional practice. The DIMs Modules will form the core of LiTE Academy’s training activities, including workshops, webinars, and collaborative learning opportunities.
By bringing together digital innovation, inclusive pedagogies, and multilingual perspectives, we hope the DIMs Modules will help teachers feel more confident in responding to the realities of contemporary language classrooms.
And most importantly, we invite educators to be part of this journey with us.
If you are interested in following the project or participating in future training opportunities, we encourage you to join the LiTE Academy waitlist and stay connected with our growing community.
